Fourth Day Chair

Standing Committee Member

TERM:

Two years ending June 30th of odd years.

PURPOSE:

To act as a volunteer member of Secretariat, responsible to the President, and in accordance with the directives of Tres Dias Cleveland as prescribed by the By-Laws, The executive Board and/or Sec to oversee and coordinate post-weekend events.

GOALS:

To direct post-weekend activities regarding Secuelas and other Fourth Day events.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Regularly attend monthly Secuelas and Secretariat meetings
  • Attend Annual and Special Board of Directors meetings
  • Attend Essential Training Workshop when offered, no more than once every three years.
  • Coordinate the obtaining of the dates and locations for the following year’s secuelas by the November Secretariat
  • With the President, the Fourth Day Chair will organize and preside over monthly Secuelas
  • Coordinate and facilitate the secuelas, regarding set-up and clean-up, speakers, food, musicians, etc
  • Provide articles for the newsletter regarding pescadores in their Fourth Day
  • Oversee special 4th Day events prescribed and approved by the Executive Board and/or Secretariat

There are many opportunities to serve in our Tres Dias community as well as other communities around the world. Your sponsor can help you get started. You will be able to learn more by attending Secuelas, reading the Tres Dias Blast e-mails as well as the monthly newsletter or attend secretariat meetings.
